Since you are chinese, you cannot file I485 now anyway. I will suggest both of you file I140 or LC at this time. And wait it get approved. Whichever get approved, you need to wait for that I140's priority date to become current and then you can file I485. Froem the trend now, you will know the result of I140 earlier than you can file I485. So nothing to both, just step by step.
