Though you can appeal, but chances are extremely low. Considering you have to compose the appeal, probably through a lawyer, it is not practial to do so. Most people appeal still have other status, like H1B.

So be careful. Otherwise, if you stay without a legal status over 180 days, there will be a 3-yr ban to enter US. So don't risk your future on this. Go home and reapply H1B in a couple years.
