You definitely cannot leave the country without advance parole. If you have a valid non-immigrate visa, you can try use that. If you use AP, you got to have EAD as well. I don't think you can get AP before the airticket date. If you don't have a F1/H1 or other visa, I suggest you to return the ticket. My AP date is 6/24 and I have not got it yet. You can get interim EAD over the counter after 3 months, not AP. On family emergency, I heard people can get AP in the airport. Not sure about the details.
