485 pending，已經獲得EAD，請問什麽才叫“使用EAD”？

我現在是H1B，明年3月底到期，綠卡申請485 pending，兩周前收到EAD。我們公司管身份的人讓我送一份EAD拷貝給她，說是為了payroll的事情，請問她收到EAD copy之日起算不算構成了我“使用EAD”？因為我還想繼續使用我的H1B身份直到3月底，不想過早使用有風險的EAD。謝謝大家！
