When he submit his 485, I assume yours is also submitted, right? Hard to imagine he did and you didn't. So in this case, you are applying for immigration, which your parents have to indicate on the visa application form.
Even you didn't submit your 485, your parent is his parent-in-law, so your parents still have to indicate. That's the same. BTW, you'd better submit your 485 now, once your hu*****and's 485 get approved, your time waiting will be much logner (as a wife of a green card holder).
