I think it is somewhat difficult for your son alone to apply for the visa successfully.Your wife may need to go back and apply for the visas together with your son. In that case, I don't think it is a problem for your wife and your son to get their visas. But don't forget to bring the necessary documents including your new marrriage provement, and you, your son and your ex-wife relationship provement.
