sorry to hear that. it happened two years ago when we landed in Canada. the officer at border did not let us in because my US visa only had one entry which i had used when I entried US from China. He said my hu*****and was ok because he had two entries which was only used once. I did enough proparation for this question. This is a law says if you stay canada less than 20 days, no need visa to reentry US. So I showed him my printed out law paper. Also before I left US, I asked my university to write a letter to mention that law. But the officer still insist that my visa has only one entry.I insist my point because i knew that i am right!! It is law!! So after half hour, their higher officer came and checked my passport again and then said:see you.
I did not know how you can back Canada. for our situation at that time, we could not back Canada because our canadian visas for immigration were used.So the only way was to entry US and I ensured the border officers knew that.
When we were at the border office to wait the solution. My little daughter wanted to pee.their restroom is locked, if you want to use it,you must ask key from a officer. so I did, but the officer said to me very rudely:"wait!". I did not say a word at the first time because be honestly our chinese are kind persons never want to make any trouble expecially with police. but after several minutes,my daughter asked to pee again. so i had to ask the officer for the key again. he gave the same answer with same atitude! this time, i felt anger, so I said:"she is just a little kid! how you expect her hold so long!" then he gave me a look, without any word, handle the key to me!!
so I think first you should find out what you did obey the law or by some misunderstood. And let the judge understand your reasonable explanation.you should struggle your right.
good luck
