remove all the family shit. company doesn't really care if you miss your high school lovers back home or your parents want to see their grandkids. Just tell them they might lose you even they want to keep you if they do act soon. HR usually want to see if you can fit in with the company for 6 months (was that the length of your probation period?) Just tell them you are willing to be let go if things do not work out in the first 6 months. (Because by sponsoring your GC, they are in fact forgoing your probation period, which means they may not legally able to fire you without withdrawing sponsored 140 first, just more hassel for them.)
