I do not pretend to be a good writer, but my sense is that a good letter should be as personal as possible.

Here are some rules.
(0) Use those sentences, which you used when filing your petition, showing how important you are to the America.
Sense: The earth will not rotate without you?
How many grants or awards you won for your companies or universities?
(1) Short sentences and simple words (on the point).
(2) Itemize them (3) Use your wife or hu*****and or better Children as an excuse.
In other words, how your petition affects them. You can not sleep well? Think about it all the time. Can not focus on work, can not make contributions to US. Affects US in a substantial way.
