If you apply for EB1(2), the key is to prove that your professorship is a permanent job position and your contribution is vital to the international scientific community of a particular field (many independent citations to your work and strong reference letters from notable individuals who never collaborated with you).
If you apply for EB1(1), the key is to prove you are EXTROADINARY among several aspects listed in the official regulation: publishing papers, writing reviews, judging others scientific work, winning national or internation awards, holding positions in various organizations, etc.
