You canadian PR will give you absoultely nothing here in the US! Many people in the States have Canadian PR too.
You're probably the guy who posted on Career forum, unless you get your Canadian Citizenship, you will not be able to get a work visa. The quota is used up for this year, you have to wait till October of 2007.
The only quota available is for People who has US master degree. Even though you have a MBA from McGrill, no matter how good it is, it is not a US school, and you will not be eligible to work under H1 visa now.
