For NIW/OR, your PD is the date when you submit your 140. However, it is "officially assigned" when your 140 is approved. This is the reason why you will NOT see your PD on your 140 receipt but will see it on your 140 approval notice.

When your 140 is denied, you lost your PD as well as the associate 485.
