my experience, just ask any one you can think of--people who cited your papers, people doing similar research, people attended the same conference, people who invited you to review papers, the conference organizers,people downloaded your work (like software). there is nothing to loss since you don't know them.

other hard evidence like public report of your work, etc will help.
