In this case, F1 better stay here until your I140 is approved. Once filing I140 and I485, you have immigration tendency. You won't get a new F1 again. (if not impossible, then very difficult at least). Not safe to use AP, since you will lose your F1 status. What to do once your I140 is denied? Then you have to leave.
