My suggestions are:

First of all, you need to analyze your case to identify why your case got denied. Ask yourself:

1) Do you think you have a strong case?
2) Do you think your lawyer did a good job based on your background?

If "Yes" to the 1st one and "No" to the second one, then you might consider to change your lawyer and appeal your case. In this way, you have a good chance to win your case and you can file a motion to reopen your denied 485 case later on. Otherwise i do not see any good chance for you to win your appeal case. However, by all means, you can try your luck if you want to appeal.

And also, if you have good new evidence, you may consider to resubmit another NIW case. Otherwise spend more time to work hard to get more evidence.
