Canada PR can help nothing. You can:
1. extend your H1 for 7th year, since yr LC pending over 1 year.
2. switch to H4 since your wife's H1 has a long way to go. And she must appy for GC by herself.

But if you want to live apart with your wife for 1 year, Canada PR may be a little helpful. After sth happens to your job, you can go to canada for 1 year, then come back with a new H1. However you can do the same in China if you don't have Canada PR.
