Evidence for permanentposition

I am applying Green Card as outstanding researcher-professor. Our depearment described my position research scientist is a permanent position.The university web-site also said this psoition will be hired for indefinited period of time. But USCIC checked the web-site of the human resources, which describes research scientist is an unclassfied position and all the unclassified poistion will be at will. Now,USCIS is asking for explaination of the contradictary. What can I do to answer this question? Thanks very much for the help!
