Canada is not the solution?

No offense, I guess you have never been to Canada. If you do live in a small city in the states, I think it will be similar to a comparable size city in Canada. I agree that Canada has a long and cold winter. However, to me, there is no significant difference between these two countries unless you really enjoy the life in NY.

Meanwhile, you can make big money anywhere if you are good enough. I doublt staying in Canada will stop you from that.

One comment on the 10-year multiple entry US VISA for Canadian PR: you are likely to get 1-year multiple entry instead if you apply today.
