file I-765, chicago or califor

My hu*****and is H-1 status, I am H-4. We apply for green card through his employer. We submit our I-140 and I-485 to the California service center(Laguna Niguel, ca 92607). Our I-140 is approved, and I-485 is pending. My first I-765 application was mail to california serivce center (Laguna Niguel, ca 92607), but until now no receipt for it. Some USCIS officers said I mailed it to a wrong place, it should go to Chicago, some USCIS officers said I mailed to the right place(mail it to the same place you submit your I-140 and I-485 if you are c9 for question 16 on I-765). I am confuse here. Now I want to file another I-765 for myself (I am H-4), where should I file, california service center or chicago?thank you sincerely.
