Ask your lawyer to provide a sample letter, if he can't, then you can make one in English (basically just what you had done in the previous company, like what they would say about you), then ask an old co-worker to help to print it on a company-titled letter and ask a manager or HR manager to sign it for you. If you do have co-workers still working there, and if the previous company still exist, it shouldn't be a big deal (you did work there for xxx years right?). That is what I did and got LC approved without problem.
