No problem to fire or change lawyer. Just find a better one, and the new lawyer will handle everything, notify both CIS and the old lawyer, switch case representation and documentation. Be aware though that there may be delay in CIS to update this information, thus some communications may still go on to the old lawyer if any occurs in the transition period.
