April 12, 2004, file the application with all fees paid
May 15, 2004 first letter with file number
Dec 27, 2004 second letter requesting medical and FBI and new Bank statement
Feb. 8, 2005 medical sent
April 7, 2005 FBI sent (my wife did the fingerprints for 3 times!)
May 9, 2005 third letter requesting passports
May 19, 2005 passports returned with immigration visas
Sept. 4, 2005 landed at Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge by driving my own car.
Oct. 4, 2005, my friend in Toronto informed me that mapleleaf cards delivered.

I don't have time to do the labor work to prepare for the application, so I hired a lawyer for $1800 for my whole family (3 people). Whether it is worth the attorney fee or not depends on your own situations. I think it's okay for me. Also my evaluation gave 77 points.
