You had better renew it!

The maximum of H1 is 6 years.
Now, you have following options:

1) Keep with your current employer, renew it, each time
one year.
2) If you have LC pending for more than one year, you
do not want to be with your current employer any
more, you can try to find a new employer, do an
H1 transfer. Based on your current pending LC,
you can get one year H1 if the H1-transfer is approved.
3) Go outside of USA for one year, then find an employer
who is willing to sponsor an H1 for you, and let such
employer apply a new H1 for you, then you can have
a fresh 6-year new H1. However, such an H1 will be
subjected to the "H1 quote" of that year, which will
be more complicated.

If you really do not like your current employer, try 2.
If you would like to stay with your current employer,
or you have not found a good new employer at this time, try 1.

I heared that the H1 fee was about $1000, added by some
lawyer fee ($1000?), compared with your anually income,
should be at least $xxxxx, which one is greater?
