Who tell you he is still a postdoc? Don’t you think he transferred to a permanent research position?

How much you know about "Postdoc"? Were you a postdoc? I guess not. You are an employee at a company, right? Earn more money than a postdoc, right? So what?

Postdocs have huge contribution to science. A postdoc is more highly qualified at academic than you, OK?
