But my friend got his green card in the mail in half a year or so. Hard to believe. But some guys are just lucky.

BTW, my friend is in VSC, filed his I140/485 last day in September 2004 (wow, that's exactly one year ago). His I140 got approved in March, got 485 approval less than one month later, got real card in the mail two days after his I485 approval notice.
