I think your I-140/I-485 approval is a matter of formality. You may receive an RFE requesting current employment evidence. Again, in light of the present I-485 visa retrogression, you may not have to wait very long if your PD (the time when your LC case was filed) is before 2002. The bottom line is that you have to keep your job that was compatible to the one on which your LC application was based. Good luck.
