Have extended visa should not be a problem. I have a friend who had her parent stayed for a year durring 9/11 and another year this year. To put something not true is really not a good idea. You never know what they are capable. I would not do that. But you can give some reason. My friend gave a reason as she stayed that long is ariad of flying after 9/11.
