He was my attorney. I paid $4,000 totally, plus FedEx fee. He walked me through everything. My friends also used him. they all got their GCs. He didn't ask for extra money for filing I485, at least when at the time of my petition. Well, I guess he has more cases to work on right now, my current colleague is working with him right now, he complained that he didn't respond quickly enough at first. But he is now still waiting.
My suggestion is: do your homework first, then seek help from the Attorney. Those attorneys who draft recommendation letters for you are not good ones. Things shouldn't work out that way.
