NIW is just one kind of Advanced degree. Before, INS had different processing date for each of them and NIW was far behind (three months later for NSC). However, after INS put everything online now, there is only one and it is the processing date for advanced degree only. For example, NIW at NSC was Nov. 29, 2002 and after the change it was Mar. 12, 2003. So you can not believe that date. If you send an inquiry to INS, they will just tell you they will need more time. Which center did u submit?
