Some information you may concerned:

1. Ph.d in Mechanical Engineering, 2003, working at middle size company.
2. 8 papers, in which 1 english journal paper (one citiation), other 2 are in review, 3 int. conf. proceedings, 2 Chinese paper.
3. Inviation letter from int. Journal editior for editing a special issue of J.
4. Paper reviewer for several Int. conference.
5.Sigma xi member
6. no award, except school scholarship
7. No gov. recommendation letters.
8. Center : NSC.
9. HR signed paper work

My experience: Only few english journal papers still can get I140 approved, The most important is that collecting all documents when you filed your case, get HR signed your paper, not your boss.
