關於I485申請工卡問題

大家好，10月1日前準備I140和I485同時遞，夫人還沒工作，準備申請工卡，但是擔心I140和485同時被拒而失去H4非移民身份，想先遞交485,暫不申請工卡。請問像這種排期的情況下，如果485被接受，10月1日後是否可以再遞工卡申請，還是必須現在就同時遞交。
