1.Apply for a new H1 stamp and renter the States. All you need is your passport with the visa.

2. Don't have to apply for a new H1 visa stamp at the U.S. consulate/Embassy, but apply for AP before you leave the States, and come back using AP. All you need is your passport, your AP, and you'd better bring your I140 and I485 receipt with you.
