You cannot predict things according to regular year. The waiting time period from 2000 to 2005 can be shorter (I hope so) or longer depending on numbers of applicants from each category. The family immigration visa number is even worse sometimes. According to last year's visa bulletin, a 3 months progression took about 12 months (3rd category). It's really depressing, which is a true endless waiting. I don't want to see any of such snail pace in Employment based category. Pray for a fast rebound for everyone in this boat. Best wishes.
