They will ask for your I94 1st

thing when you apply for a visa at the consulate. Yes, I got it on the same day. But the visa I got had only one entry. So I had to flew back to China from there, then entered U.S. later. My friends who didn't bother to apply for visas in Canada all got their H1 visas easily in China. They were laughing at me.
