Visit Canada when 485 pending

Hello folk,

I am H1 visa holder. I will soon submit I-485 [NIW is pending].
Can I drive and visit Canada very short period of time without Advanced parol?

I know H1 visa holder can drive to Canada without problem. Will the I-485 be affected? Or may have trouble when I-485 is pending?
