After your 140 get approved and your 485 has been pending for more than 180 days, you can use AC21 to
change job, even if you choose to stay at home, it is
fine. But you have to have a job which is similar to the job described on LC or NIW 140 when your 485 is ready for adjustment. Otherwise your case has great chance to be denied.
