It is not easy to find a good lawyer with a reasonable price. Sorry for those who paid money but got poor service or nothing. There are too many lawyers with diffent qualifications out there. Some lawyers are really good and helpful. But there really exist some lawyers who are just phishing here and there.
For those who are looking for lawyers, I would provide the following suggestions for your reference before you make your decison.
1): if possible, try to find a lawyer who is located in the area as close to your place as possible? It is better if they are within your physical reach range. You can stop by to see their office and talk to them person to person. Check to see if they have a lawyer pratic licence. You can feel the atmosphere about their office.
2): If you are unfornatunate to live in a remote area, call them first if you can not reach their office in person? and prepare a list of questions to question them to see if they are professional and dedicated (you need to do some research homework first). If personel in an office would not spend the time to talk to you or answer your questions before you hire them, how can you expect they will do it better after you hire them? It is better to have your friend to help you to check it before you make decision.
3): Do not just simply believe what people recommend in this forum unless they are recommended by your trusted friends? Because the internet blindness, it is hard to tell who is who though some suggestions may be helpful. Using you mind to think about it before you make your decision.
Following the above suggestions doesn't mean you will get a good lawyer for sure. Just for your reference.
