your baby should have no problem using travel permit to get into China, but when you get out of China with your baby, you have to explain to the officer at the airport.

For you self, since your 485 has been approved, you can not use AP any more, so the best way is to have someone mail your GC to you in China. If your FP code is 3, you will get your card soon.
