是不是有一個規定: 在來美後第8年(作為F-1學生)必須要file an application for extention of stay on a form I-538 with university ISO and Immigration and Naturalization Services district office?

我的問題是(1)我是不是必需填此表(I-538)?
(2)如果是,我沒有在第8年及時填,現在有問題嗎? 能否補填而不會有嚴重後果?
