Thanks very much for your message. Perhaps I received exactly the same 485 receipt like you from VSC this Monday. I tried to make the appointment, but the officer asked for the ASC code. She said that the code should be in a column of the receipt. I told her that there is no such code in the receipt, and she said she cannot make the appointment for me in that case. The question is for GC application, the ASC code is different from person to person. I tried to contact other departments using the customer service number, but there is no way to find somebody to talk with. I really have no idea what to do next. Anyway, thanks again for your message and I appreciate your keeping me updated about your case.
