thanks for the reply. Are you saying that J1 waiver does not constitute any inference to immigration tendency? Sounds like a good news to me. By the way, does the VO DEFINITELY know that I have applied for a J1 waiver? And, are you refering I-797 form to the "approval notice" that you just mentioned? many thanks.
