Name check takes so long......

I got my finger prints last Sep and got I-140 approval in APril 2005, and no more news afterwards. Lawyer sent inquiry in June, got reponse back says under Name Check, it's now in Aug, don't know how long this is going to take. Very frustrating. Anyone else like to share your experience with name check?
