I-485& wife case

Dear friends, I need some help...

Today I received email notice from USCIS. It indicated as below

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On August 5, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or
registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

----
I do not whether it means the case has been approved or not???

my wife and I will be back to US from China tomorrow. we have visa stamped. do you think above information will bring trouble to us?
can my wife continue subimtting immigration application? thank you
