Find the best lawyer and hire him without consultation

Lawyers charge consulting fees because it is annoying to talk to people who have no intention to hire any lawyer and travel around law offices to use free consultation to learn how to do it. I have experienced people who made five separate trips to five different places trying to learn how to follow up with USCIS with his application. It talks longer for lawyers to explain it to him than to actually do it for him. (Not to mention that applicants could not do what lawyers could do here at Los Angeles.) Your best choice is to ask around and find a good lawyer at reasonable price, and hire him out straight without “consultation”, which is more of an evaluation process, if you are freeloading.
