Yes, my lawyer asked me to bring the 485 reciept with me and told me to be prepared for the questions. But the immigration officer didn't ask for it at all. In fact, he didn't ask a single question during the interview. The only thing he said was "Go to window 1 and get your visa." Your DS156/7 forms, the original H1B approval notice and your passport will be handed to the officer while you are in the line waiting for the interview. Bring all the documents with you, although they may not be needed. Don't worry too much and good luck!
