Better not change address

Here is my experience:

I moved twice during 140 and 485. I submitted form AR-11 every time, however, I didn't change the address for my case (Note that AR-11 won't change your case address automatically) because I can still receive my mail from my old address, which is a friend's perm address.

I worried a lot about any potential problem from the address changes because my lawyer said I must also call INS to change the address for my case every time I move, in addition to filing AR-11. But anyway, I didn't listen to my attorney about that and have got my card last month.
