Keypoints for NIW

I read some articles on the USCIS website http://uscis.gov/graphics/lawsregs/admindec3/b5/2004/index.htm
and found the keypoints for a successful NIW case are:

1) Your past academic records will make a promise to your future NI.
2) Your past works' impact - citation (from independent groups), review papers, etc.
3) Supporting letters from non-related experts.
4) Paticipating a National project does not mean you are qualified to NIW.
