how did you check for available appiontments? I just checked on http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/wait/tempvisitors_wait.php and it says:

Visitors Visas: 30 Days
Student/Exchange Visitors Visas: 30 Days
All Other Nonimmigrant Visas: 30 Days

Does it mean for H1B we may still be able to make an appointment for late August?
