Please help: I864 for 485

Hello,please help me on this issue:

I am F1 student and going to file 485 with my hb based on his pending NIW/I140. My questions about the Affidavit of Support:
1. Should both my hb and I file an I864 form? What should we choose in PART 2: Basis for filing? Seems no one is suitable for us.
2. If I get a letter from international student office (ISO) stating my stipend, and my hb also has his employment letter, do we still need I864?
3. If my hb's salary is enough to support me, the letter from ISO is still needed?

Because we are anxious to submit 485 ASAP, so seek help from experienced XDJMs. I am appreciated for any help. Thanks!
