Will I be out of status?

本人目前持H-1B從事IT工作，I-485 Pending在name check. 有EAD CARD。公司將要進行裁員，請問以下幾個問題，懇請得到大家的幫助，謝謝先了。第一，若不幸被裁，有多久的合法時間可以用來找下一份工作，第二，若找不到新工作，是否將要失去合法身份，第三，有沒有什麽其它什麽Legal 渠道可以保留我的合法身份，我的H-1B明年初6年到期。D第四，可否用EAD從事別的類型的工作直到I-485獲批準。

我知道問題很多，本人不勝感激好心人的熱情幫助。謝謝
